Nutrition and Monday Circuit Plan in Denver

Saturday was a caffeine day, but Sunday and today are CASS-Free. Tomorrow will be a tough deadlift workout, so there will be pre-workout caffeine.

I'm also eating a vegan paleo diet to see how that goes. Lots of these bowls (http://forum.ttmembers.com/showthread.php?t=13426) featuring nuts, coconut oil, nut butter, honey, etc. Also, lots of big salads. And a lot of fruit and some almond bars and pea protein powder when needed.

This only started after my last Rib-Eye on Thursday, and it will only last until I go to Vegas next Sunday.

Sunday was a 6-mile walk around Smith Lake and Washington Park in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood.

Today was a bodyweight mobility circuit:

- squats
- 1-leg RDL
- prisoner lunges
- pushups
- TBX
- mountain climbers

Finished with Yoga.

Today's Kickbutt Mindset TRUTH:
You must avoid the "cardio confessional Monday mindset". Sixty minutes on the elliptical will not make up for the sins of a 2000-calorie appetizer at Applebees. On the bright side, eating a 2000-calorie app still won't cause you to gain 3 pounds of fat. Your weekend weight gain is mostly WATER. It will be gone by Tuesday, naturally. So do your best this weekend and then get back on track with your TT plan on Monday. And always be thinking: Make the right decisions – right now – for your right life.

Do it right,

Craig Ballantyne, CTT
