KB Training Pre-Europe

Crazy morning, busy day, that's the way it is when you're flying to Europe at night and going away for 3 weeks.

Just another annual trip of a lifetime. :)

I woke up, wrote, meditated, walked the dog, ate breakfast, did calls all day, sold some workshops, did a podcast, then hit the garage gym, then drove to the airport, and now I'm chillin' pre-flight.

Tomorrow London, Friday Budapest, and then more good stuff. Stay tuned!

Today's session was makeshift, but solid.

1A) KB Reverse Lunge
1B) 1-Arm KB Standing Press
1C) Ab Wheel

Stronger with less

I keep doing less and less and getting stronger.

Last week I hit a 2017 PB of 57 pushups.

Today I hit a 2017 PB of 80x12 for db chest press.

I also have started drinking more caffeine. That probably helps.

Today's workout:

1A) DB Chest Press
1B) DB Row

2A) DB Triceps Extension
2B) Mobility

Deadlifts and Tightness

Today was my first deadlift workout in a long time, too long.

My back is a little stiff, and my hips are a little tight.

Still, the workout was ok.

1A) Hang Clean
1B) Mobility... but not enough!

2A) Deadlift
2B) Mobility

3A) TRX row
3B) Abs

Tomorrow is an upper body session in the garage gym. I have a couple more days on the farm before heading to Europe for 3 weeks.

Off Day in Bed Late

Off day today.

Flight landed in Toronto at midnight, got to sleep in hotel at 1:30am, and managed to sleep to 6:30am. Drove home to the farm. Petted dog. Might go for a bike ride later.

Tomorrow, we deadlift!

Hot Workouts

Yesterday was a great workshop day topped off with a big sushi dinner. Today is my last day in California before heading to the burning hot city of Phoenix for a Mastermind group.

It seems like a giant bad idea to voluntarily go to a city where it's 115 degrees Farenheit, but there's no turning back right now.

Another adventure awaits.

Until then, I had a great workout in a hot garage gym in SoCal this AM.

1A) Pushups - New 2017 PB of 57 reps
1B) Pullups

2A) More Pushups!
2B) TRX BW Rows

Spend 15 minutes in reflection on these two question:

1) Where do you want to be in life?

2) Why are you not there?

Be clear and concise about where you want to be and who you want to be there with. Then be open and honest about how you are holding yourself back. Connect the dots... Identify opportunities to overcome your obstacles and achieve EXACTLY what you want.

Perfect Team Training and Garage Gym Workout

Today we're running a Perfect Team Training Workshop at Fit Body Boot Camp HQ in Chino Hills, California. It's awesome and so much fun.

Before that I snuck in a quick workout in the garage at Bedros Keuilian's home using some kettlebells.

Hollywood Comedy and LA Hotel Workout

Yesterday was an epic day in Santa Monica and Hollywood with the one and only, Jason Ferruggia.

I flew from Toronto to LA, then met Jay, his wife, and our friend Luka Hocaver for brunch in Santa Monica. Then we drove to Hollywood for Jay's improv performance at Second City. After that, we had dinner at a great Mexican place, and finished the night listening to foul-mouthed comedians at the Comedy Store. I laughed so hard I had tears rolling down my face. Joey Diaz, a big fat Italian, was the highlight of the night.

After a few hours sleep I had a busy morning of calls, and managed to take a walk to Whole Foods and hit the gym for this quick Hotel Meathead session:

1A) 1-Arm DB Shoulder Press
1B) Pullup

2B) Pushup
